Hey! I’m Keri.
I have so much to teach and to share with you. Back in college, I tried losing weight the wrong way and ended up with disordered eating in the process. I’ve taken diet pills. I’ve counted calories. I’ve done hours (and hours and hours) of cardio. And I’ve been afraid to eat bananas because they are higher in sugar than most fruits (like OMG, really!). Basically, I’ve done all the wrong things so I can help teach you the RIGHT things. Because after all of that crap, I created the IgniteGirls method.
And I will teach you how to find the balance somewhere between kale + ice cream.
I healed my relationship with food. I learned I can eat cake and not gain weight. I stopped counting. I do one session of cardio a week – the spin class I teach. And I got back down to my pre-pregnancy weight (and then some, twice), and look just as fit as I did while I was competing in fitness competitions. I also feel balanced, sane and normal. I’m so over eating out of tupperware at restaurants or saying “no” to celebrating life events (hello, life is about cake!) and not buying bananas. And I want the same for you.
Not only do I have personal experience with my own transformation, both mentally and physically, but for the past 8 years I have been a certified fitness trainer through the American Council on Exercise (ACE), ACE certified lifestyle and weight management coach, and Mad Dogg Athletics certified spin instructor. I also trained with the University of Delaware cheerleaders, taught for Flywheel and trained celebrities such as Alison Sweeney from The Biggest Loser, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Laura Prepon and Kaley Cuoco. I’ve previously organized and coordinated bootcamps in Los Angeles sponsored by Jillian Michaels’ online program.
And you may have seen me featured on SELF.com, Fit Bottomed Girls, The Huffington Post, She Knows®, LivingSocial, Physique Magazine and the cover of FitnessX Magazine. In addition, I am a self-published author for my 155+ page book, The IgniteGirls Life, a lifestyle nutrition plan that teaches you how and what to eat and why.
Thanks for stopping by. I’m so happy you’re here.
